some rides don’t have much of a finish…
well, having spoken with an admissions counselor from UCSB this morning, it may be the best choice for me if Berkeley does not award me enough financial aid. UCSB thus far has been more accommodating than any other school I’ve spoken with.
I’ve also decided that I’m going to minor in exercise science with a focus on fitness education (I think with my recent interest in fitness having personal training as a fallback plan will work well.)
I no longer wonder why the u.c. system has long denied moorpark college philosophy courses for transfer. There are professors in the program who are phenomenal, who genuinely cultivate one’s interest in the big questions, and yet there are also those who make the die-hards, those of us who are already philosophy major’s, want to slit our wrists (well, maybe not that bad) but at least make us re-think our choice of major, and school in general.
I have one such professor this semester.
I wonder what classes political science as a major would require I take over the summer?
so i was accepted to UCSD, Thurgood Marshall college today.
which leaves only U.C. Berkeley left to hear from.
April 30th cannot come too soon.
